Curl lashes in 2 sections, once at the base and another at half the length. Apply a coat of mascara to the tips of lashes, let them dry before sweeping another full length coat. For a dramatic look, allow the coat to dry, then apply again concentrating on the base of the lash. Twist, never "pump" the mascara wand to collect more mascara on the brush, it will dry it out faster.
